Fetch is on the lookout for a talented Veterinary Technician ready to step into a leadership role as our Assistant Practice Manager (APM) of Emergency & Critical Care!Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is a family-owned veterinary hospital in Brandon, Florida. We're proud of our team-oriented culture, advanced medicine, and unwavering dedication to pets and the people who love them. We're currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician with a passion for Emergency & Critical Care who's ready to take the next step in their career by helping lead our ECC team.
As the Assistant Practice Manager of ECC, you'll play a vital leadership role at the heart of daily operations. This hands-on position is all about supporting both the team and our patients. Your strong organizational and leadership skills will help guide team members, maintain efficient workflows, and create a supportive environment throughout each shift.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with hospital leadership to ensure goals are met, team members feel supported, and patient care stays exceptional. You'll also help foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere, build lasting relationships with guests and referring veterinarians, and step in to address challenges before they become issues. In short-you'll be the go-to leader who keeps our ER and ECC teams running smoothly and confidently.

Ideal Candidate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT), preferred
- Previous experience in specialty and/or emergency veterinary medicine, preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical protocols and procedures
- Proficient in the administration and monitoring of anesthesia
- Excellent technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
