Associate Veterinarian – Full-Time or Part-Time | AAHA Accredited | Erie, Colorado

Erie Animal Hospital, a local, privately-owned practice in beautiful Erie, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our friendly and progressive two-doctor team. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates who value high-quality care, strong relationships, and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Since 2001, our privately owned practice has proudly served our community by combining personalized service with modern veterinary medicine. We are AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly Practice certified, and emphasize Fear Free handling techniques to ensure a low-stress experience for pets and their people.

In 2024, we completed a complete hospital expansion and renovation with state-of-the-art equipment, redesigned spaces for improved patient care, and created a more comfortable, modern environment for our team and clients.

What We Offer:

Erie Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal hospital with a client-focused approach. We provide both general practice and daytime urgent care services, with no after-hours emergencies! We have an experienced support team with Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.

Our hospital includes advanced tools including digital radiography (both general and dental), SOUND Ultrasound, complete IDEXX in-house lab, DentalAir Dental Station, Laser surgery, Class IV cold laser therapy, acupuncture and alternative medicine. We also have access to many local Veterinary Specialists.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of clinical experience
• Proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
• Passion for preventive care, client education, and thorough case workups
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Must hold a Colorado veterinary license and DEA license. A USDA Accreditation is a plus

Work-Life Balance:

• Four-day work week with rotating half-day Saturdays
• Flexible scheduling options for part-time candidates
