Requirements:
- Certified Veterinary Technician, License must be current
- 2+ years in the veterinary industry
- Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
- Idexx and Avimark knowledge preferred but not required.
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Believes in the importance of client education
- Compassionate toward our patients and clients
- Motivated to learn new skills
- Positive and supportive team player
Heidt Veterinary Hospital is actively looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our amazing team. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, able to use Idexx in-house lab equipment, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing and Heidt Veterinary Hospital encourages its staff to do the same.
