**Join Our Team at Animal ER of the Western Slope!**
Animal ER of the Western Slope is a new, locally-owned emergency clinic looking for veterinary associates in Grand Junction, Colorado. We are fully staffed but are looking to expand as a 24/7 ER (currently we are only nights, weekends, and holidays).
Formed by a group of passionate doctors and technicians in 2023, with over 4 decades of emergency veterinary experience between them, we are the antidote to uninspired, numbers-driven corporate veterinary medicine. With no major referral centers for 200 miles, we are driven to offer our local community the highest quality of veterinary medicine.
We’re looking for veterinarians who are as excited about emergency medicine as we are. We also offer mentorship for veterinarians who need some support to become comfortable with the demands of a full-service rural ER (swing shifts so you are always with an experienced vet for the beginning of your training, regular check-ins, on-call vets for those complex cases or scary surgeries you haven’t done before). The surgical experience you will receive is expansive- new grads are welcome to apply! Our ideal candidates should be willing to expand their skillset and challenge themselves to meet the needs of this community.
