Description
Veterinary Surgical Centers Rehabilitation (VSCR), a leading provider of sports medicine, physical rehabilitation, and pain management services for companion animals in Northern Virginia, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our dynamic Sports Medicine and Rehab team in Vienna, VA.Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation program features advanced modalities including therapeutic laser, ultrasound, e-stim, hydrotherapy (AquaPaws), shockwave therapy (Pulse Vet), and customized therapeutic exercise equipment. VSCR operates within a multi-specialty veterinary facility, fostering daily collaboration with experts in surgery, neurology, and more.
Rehab Veterinary Technician
Veterinary Surgical Center and Rehabilitation at Hope Advanced Veterinary Center in Vienna, VA
The target schedule for this role is Tuesday through Friday; availability for this schedule is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families
- Conduct physical assessments and document findings accurately
- Assist in medical surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and fluid administration
- Maintain and prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and rehabilitation equipment
- Support hydrotherapy and other physical rehabilitation treatments
- Educate clients on home care and follow-up procedures
- Prepare treatment estimates and discuss financial commitments with clients
- Ensure proper inventory management and communicate supply needs
- Maintain detailed and compliant medical records

REQUIREMENTS
- Active LVT or RVT license in Virginia (or eligibility for transfer)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical veterinary experience
- Strong knowledge of canine anatomy and rehabilitation practices
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning
- CCRP or CCRA certification preferred, or willingness to pursue certification
