CareVet is offering a total compensation package of $200K guaranteed in your first year (based on experience) at Green Valley Animal Hospital in Bluefield, WV, as a full-time DVM team member. In addition, this role includes a production bonus plan, flexible scheduling, 401(k) match, “true” paid time off, and access to our veterinarian vacation plan.

Green Valley Animal Hospital in Bluefield, WV is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian to join our small animal general practice. Practice Overview
Our hospital is focused on providing high-quality, compassionate care to the pets and families in our community. We are well-equipped with digital radiology and in-house blood analyzers, allowing our doctors to make timely, accurate diagnoses. Requirements
- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
