Are you a people-oriented professional with a passion for helping pets and their owners? We are a brand-new state-of- the-art daytime veterinary urgent care hospital in Pasadena, CA. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Receptionist/ Client Service Representative to join our front desk team. We are looking for a dynamic veterinary professional who can be part of a warm, positive culture, where teamwork and open communication is always welcome and encouraged. As a client service representative, your role is truly at the heart of our practice’s success! In this role, you’ll be the face of our practice, ensuring every client and pet receives exceptional service during their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients and pets warmly, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage phone calls, appointment scheduling, and inquiries efficiently.
- Accurately input and maintain patient and client information in our practice management system.
- Process payments and provide clear explanations of billing.
- Communicate effectively with the veterinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Provide compassionate support to clients during urgent or emotional situations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or client service representative in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or similar medical setting (urgent care or emergency experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using veterinary practice management software, electronic medical records, and payment processing.
- Genuine love for animals and commitment to providing outstanding client service.

Schedule:
