Description

As a Client Service Representative, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey.Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Customer service experience required; 2 years’ experience in veterinary medicine is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in appointment scheduling and multi-line phone systems; ability to multi-task.
- Able to enter medical notes and maintain medical records into our computer system; can type 45mpm minimally.
- Currently possess, or able to obtain Veterinary Medication Clerk license in Washington state within 90 days of employment.
- Desire to practice empathetic, gold standard medicine benefiting our patients through all life stages.
- Are positive, kind and provide trustworthy communication to the patients, team members and clients.
- Have the desire to constantly grow and advance as a valued member!
Role Responsibilities:
- Help strengthen relationships with our clients by greeting them and their pet!
- Educate clients and answer non-medical inquiries.
- Maintain client relationships and service standards by responding to phone calls, taking messages, processing prescription refill requests and appointment scheduling. Regular monitoring of email and faxes.
- Maintains computer records with up-to-date client and patient data, verifying each patient entering the hospital.
- Maintains the front desk, reception area, waiting areas and exam rooms in a neat and clean manner.
- Ensure financial responsibilities are met. Reviewing charges for services upon completion or discharge, ensuring accurate reconciliation of cash drawer with computer-generated reporting.
- Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Flexibility in schedule and dependability are qualities that are highly regarded and paramount as a condition of employment. Shifts vary from 6:30am - 5:30pm, 7am - 6pm, or 730am - 6:30pm Monday through Friday, Saturday from 7:45am - 4:30pm. This is a full-time position scheduled from 35-38hrs weekly and will require rotating Saturday shifts. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $21-23 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
