We are a slower paced, full service veterinary hospital in the relaxed rural town of Kingman, Arizona. Our caseload is 90% K9/Feline, 9% equine, and 1% miscellaneous barnyard mammals. We require excellent client and inter-employee communication skills.
Currently, compensation is entirely production based. Entry level, new graduates can expect $75,000-$85,000/ year, depending on ambition and aptitude. Experienced associates can expect $100,000-$125,000/ year, depending on ambition and aptitude. Pro-Sal compensation can be negotiated. Benefits include Paid time off, Paid CE, licensure, and professional dues. Full time associates enjoy a 4 day work schedule. Part time schedule can be negotiated. After hours/on call is shared on a rotational basis and generously compensated.
This is a great opportunity for the new grad looking for mentor-ship or the seasoned associate who can add to our experience and expertise. Also, could be the perfect job for a part time associate needing flexibility for family or wanting to slow down as they approach retirement.
Our practice has very little turnover with a well seasoned and experienced staff. You will find it well equipped with surgical laser, DR radiology, in house Idexx lab, Impromed operating system, diagnostic ultrasound, fiber-optic endoscope, stalls, corrals, chutes and stocks for "hauled in" livestock, and a clinic truck for livestock house calls.
Kingman sits in a high desert valley with it's 3300 feet elevation giving it a moderate climate for year round recreation opportunities in the surrounding mountains, desert, and nearby lakes. Our historic downtown has undergone recent revitalization to host cultural activities and a bustling nightlife. The city and immediate surrounding area boasts a population of +/- 45,000 people.
