Staten Island Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!!
We are a full-service general practice with comprehensive medical and surgical services. We've been serving our local Staten Island community for over 75 years, and believe that serving our human clients is just as important as serving our furry clients!
Our hospital also provides specialized services, including:
Integrative medicine therapies including acupuncture, herbal and holistic medicine
Exotics animal medicine, including avian, reptiles, mammals, including rabbits, ferrets and pocket pets
Full digital radiography
Our hospital provides a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with specialty facilities when advanced diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas, and professional bathing/grooming equipment, among many other features.
Who we're looking for:
- Graduated from an AVMA-accredited school of veterinary medicine
- Veterinarian with an active license to practice in the state of New York (or eligible for licensure)
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with other staff members
- Enjoys working with their clients to come up with the best possible treatment plans for their clients
In this position you'll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets.
