Crosslake Veterinary Hospital (www.crosslakevet.com) is a primarily companion animal practice that is expanding from a three doctor practice to a four doctor practice, and looking for a full time Certified Veterinary Technician to add to our team. We are located in Crosslake, Minnesota, in the heart of lakes country on the beautiful Whitefish Chain. The area offers numerous year-round outdoor activities and is a great place for families.
We have a busy practice, which focuses on providing the highest level of medical and surgical care for our patients and clients. We have digital whole body and dental radiology, full in-house IDEXX blood machines and ultrasound, and utilize sevoflurane gas anesthesia with multi-parameter monitoring equipment.
Currently, we employ four full time veterinary technicians, two receptionists and three veterinary assistants with additional support staff hired for the summer months. We are looking to hire a hard-working, self-motivated individual that values client education and thrives in a team setting. The position would be paid hourly, based on experience, with full benefits including medical insurance.
Certification in the state of Minnesota as a Veterinary Technician is required. Any level of experience is encouraged to apply.
Additional Salary Information: The position is paid hourly. Benefits include medical insurance with 75% of the premium paid by Crosslake Veterinary Hospital, paid time off, paid licensing and association annual dues, continuing education stipend with additional paid time off, supplemental insurance opportunities, uniforms provided by Crosslake Veterinary Hospital, and veterinary service benefits.
