Summit Animal Hospital is looking for a motivated full time associate veterinarian to join our team. We have a beautiful hill top facility located in Camas, Washington about 15 minutes from Portland, Oregon. In this area you will have access to hiking, fishing, camping and many more outdoor activities. Camas also has one of the best school districts in the state.
We are a privately owned small animal AAHA accredited hospital established in 1998. Our wonderful dedicated staff is very serious about providing compassionate care for our patients and their owners. We have a wonderful group of trained assistants along with a CVT. We aspire to offer excellent work life balance to our team. Our clinic is open 8:00-5:30 Monday-Friday and 8:30-12:30 on Saturday and we strive to stick to those operating hours.
Our facility is equipped with a full surgical suite, digital full body and dental radiographs, therapeutic laser and in-house chemistry analyzer. We are using a cloud based practice management software called Ezyvet and transitioning to electronic medical records. Our focus is on high quality preventive care for dogs and cats.
Applicants with previous experience preferred. Great long term potential for the right veterinarian. No after-hours emergency duties. About Summit Animal Hospital
Summit Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced AAHA accredited Technician/Assistant to become part of a good working team. We are a busy 2 doctor small animal practice. Responsibilities will be but are not limited to patient care, restraint, venipuncture, catheter placement, IV and oral medication admin., laboratory work-IDEXX Lab Station, cytology, fecal, UA, anesthesia induction, dental cleaning, positioning and performing digital radio-graphs and client education are all duties expected for this position. A good work ethic and a team player with an easy going attitude is a must. Prior experience is a positive. Candidates must be reliable, motivated, have excellent customer service skills, be able to lift and carry animals over 40 lbs and be able walk or stand for extended periods of time. 20-30 hours a week w/Fridays and Saturdays required. Compensation based on experience.
