Skilled surgery, exam room, and dentistry passionate veterinarian to provide flexible, high quality medicine, forward thinking leadership, innovation, and best practices in our affordable care clinic. Serving an under-served and vulnerable population who could not otherwise provide for their cat’s care, to discriminating clients who value our feline specialty knowledge and gentle care. Fully equipped with dental radiography, in house lab, digital x-ray, cold laser, SediVue, BP monitors in every room, and more.
Our ideal candidate is interested in TNVR, occasional rescue work, can handle a large volume of cases in a fast paced and fun environment, and enjoys case work up. Flexible hours include some weekend, and no overnight or emergency hours. Affiliation with AAHA, AAFP, or Fear Free Certification, and knowledge of paperless AVImark a plus.

11,000 square foot facility features a free-roaming, environmentally enriched adoption center, gift store, education center, an affordable care full service veterinary clinic open to the public, and a separate shelter medical facility.
Veterinary services offered to the public at our Rose Durham Cat Care Clinic include wellness care, surgery, dentistry, radiology, in-house and out-sourced lab, laser treatment, pharmacy, behavioral consulting and more. We are strong advocates of trap/neuter/vaccinate/release, and offer a food bank and medical assist to low-income cat owners.
Our Shelter Medical, a quality of life, limited access facility, offers all of these services to rescued and relinquished adoptable cats, and operates as a sort of hybrid of private practice and shelter medicine.
