The Greatful Pet Animal Clinic is looking for a full-time veterinarian associate for our one doctor small animal clinic located in Boulder City, Nevada just minutes away from beautiful Lake Mead. Our privately owned hospital has been serving the community for over 10 years. We pride ourselves with providing quality medicine and surgery and have a great staff of well trained licensed technicians, technician assistants and customer service representatives.
We welcome applications from both experienced and new graduate veterinarians. Salary will be dependent on experience and will include a base salary, as well as benefits package.
We are offering a 3 day work week with NO on-call requirements.

Our doctor to staff ratio is excellent and we have a very engaging and cooperative team. We are well equipped with digital radiology including dental radiology. We also have Heska in-house diagnostic laboratory equipment, endoscopy equipment, radio surgery, and laser therapy. Ownership/buy-in potential for the right candidate.

Qualification requirements include:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.

About The Greatful Pet Animal Clinic
We are a small animal one doctor practice with 2 exam rooms, large treatment room, surgical suite and an x-ray room. Office hours are Monday- Friday 7:30am-5pm, Saturdays 8am-2pm. We currently have two seasoned Licensed Veterinary Technicians, three veterinary assistants, and three receptionists. Patient history and vitals are taken in the room by either the technician/assistants prior to presentation to the Veterinarian. We offer an full in-house laboratory including CBC, Serum Chemistries, T4/TSH, Cortisol, and Bile Acids testing, digital radiography, ultrasonic dental cleanings, general surgery, some orthopedics, endoscopy, class 3 cold laser therapy, and an in-house pharmacy. Scheduling is as follows: Mon-Fri :Morning appointments are seen from 8am to 10am, surgery time is from 10am to 1pm. Lunch is from 1pm to 1:30pm. Afternoon appointments are seen from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Full time employment is 3 days per week with no-on call requirements! Benefits include annual continuing education, and licensing fees.
