We are looking to add 1 associate (full-time) to our productive, well-established practice in southern Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for energetic, caring individuals interested in practicing high-quality medicine in a busy mixed (predominantly small) animal practice. Initially opened in 1938, the practice features fast-paced, high-volume, high-quality veterinary medicine with a caring, compassionate, and friendly staff in a family-like environment. We offer comprehensive and appropriate health care and prevention to our patients and work with the client as a team to provide their pet with the care it needs and deserves. Any associate would have the opportunity to field some large animal work should he or she be interested, but large animal work interest or experience is not a requirement. We share after-hours and weekend emergency rotations with another clinic in the area that has similar values. We are approximately 2 hours south of Columbus and 2 hours east of Cincinnati. The practice is constantly striving to improve what it offers the local area and works hard to be a positive presence in the community. We have in-house x-ray, ultrasound, TonoVet, and IDEXX lab equipment which allows us to make extensive use of a variety of patient-side tests, as well as the reference lab. The perfect candidates will be flexible, upbeat, responsive to both owners and their pets, friendly, caring, hard-working, and highly motivated. We are looking for eager, energetic associates with good people skills to join our friendly and fun-loving team/family. We offer a competitive salary based on experience and part-time/full-time status with opportunities to earn generous production bonuses. We offer health insurance, paid AVMA Professional Liability Insurance, paid veterinarian and DEA license fees, vacation, annual CE allowance, and IRA with room to negotiate reasonably. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome and encouraged to inquire or apply. If interested, contact Jillian Salisbury or Stacy Dodson at 740-353-2280 or send your resume to Sciototrail@yahoo.com.
