We have the job for you! We're seeking an experienced spay/neuter surgeon to perform spay/neuter surgeries for cats and dogs at our low-cost, nonprofit clinic. We partner with most county shelters in our area and focus our services on shelter pets, low-income family pets, and community cats. There are few jobs like this, where you get the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a permanent, positive impact by reducing the number of homeless cats and dogs in our community. And, you don't have to talk to clients about costs. We believe every person deserves to have a pet, so we help anyone who needs it, regardless of their financial circumstances.
The work schedule is flexible, you can work from 1 to 5 days a week, whatever works best for your situation. Daily work hours are generally from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Requirements include a current Ohio veterinarian license, prior spay/neuter surgery experience, capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, great attention to detail, and the ability to handle a physically demanding job.

UCAN Nonprofit Spay & Neuter Clinic is a high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter and wellness clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio which services pet owners, people caring for free-roaming cats, rescue groups, and animal shelters within a 75 mile radius of the clinic. UCAN is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization and can offer low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services thanks to generous private donations and grants.
OUR VISION is a community without homeless pets where all residents have access to quality, affordable spay/neuter and other resources to help them keep their pets in their loving homes.
OUR MISSION is ending the euthanasia of cats and dogs in local shelters and keeping pets in their loving homes by providing professional and affordable spay/neuter services.
