We enjoy going to work!... do you? Our newly remodeled, 3 doctor, growing small animal practice is looking for a part-time or full-time licensed veterinarian to join our team. We are located 10 minutes east of Hartford, CT. Our practice offers many services to our clients, including routine surgeries and procedures, laser surgery, dentals, digital radiography, and in-house lab work. We also offer canine reproductive services. We are open Monday through Saturday. While we welcome emergencies during regular office hours, we are not a 24-hour care facility and will refer critical patients to an emergency hospital for overnight care.
We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic team player with a good sense of humor who wants to grow with our practice. Experienced vets are preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply. We are open to adding exotics, herbal and/or holistic medicine and any other areas of special interest to our practice. We specialize in canine reproductive services, and anyone with a special interest in this area is encouraged to apply.

Our friendly, experienced staff provides a host of pet care services, including surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, and canine reproductive services. The staff at the Animal Medical Clinic is passionate about providing quality, advanced veterinary care for our patients while educating and communicating with our clients and each other, working together as a cohesive team. Dr. Powell has a special interest in canine reproduction. Our team assists breeders with pre-breeding health testing, infertility work-ups, freezing and shipping semen, insemination, whelping and puppy care, and more.
