General Practice Veterinarian for newly AAHA accredited small animal practice. Our practice focuses on the entire well-being of the pets. Around 99% of our patients are cats and dogs. We have a full-service clinic, which is busy, but not high pace. Interpersonal skills are essential to build rapport with our animal loving clients. Surgical skill requires the ability to use or learn laser surgery, since all surgery is done with laser. Must be efficient with spay, neuters and common abdominal surgery. Proficiency with orthopedics, ocular and thoracic surgeries would be greatly desired. Our practice greatly values the importance of oral health, so dental extractions experience with high speed drill is essential. Strong Diagnostic skills are a key to success at our practice, however all the doctors enjoy collaborations and assisting in difficult cases. To aid in diagnosis, we have digital whole body and dental radiographs, Abaxis in house lab with CBC and Chemistry machines and an Ultrasound unit. Our well trained and years of experience veterinary assistants are happy to assist with restraint, blood draws, catheter placement and anesthetic monitoring to name a few.
