Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital & Luxury Pet Resort is seeking a Full Time Veterinarian & Medical Director to lead our well-established advanced veterinary hospital and pet resort located in beautiful Frederick, MD.
Our wide range of services include State of the Art Veterinary Hospital, Pet Rehabilitation & Therapy with underwater treadmill and 2 class IV Lasers. Our 3 doctors are dedicated with a large focus on orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, and laser therapy. We have a full in-house Lab, digital x-ray, and diagnostic capability.
Our services include Veterinary Hospital, Pet Rehabilitation & Therapy, Luxury Boarding Resort, Professional Grooming, Spa Services, Dog Training, Day Camp and Boarding, and a free public dog park. Our beautiful and well-maintained facility is situated on 30 acres of land and is conveniently accessible from highway, I 270. Our professionalism, prompt and courteous service are the reasons our client come back to us again and again.
The ideal candidate:

Can effectively communicate with co-workers and clients.
Has flexible availability.
Minimum 2 years DVM clinical experience required.
Experience in both general and emergency practice.
Ability to write, adjust and implement medical standards.
Must be organized, focused and work well under pressure.
Team oriented and positive attitude.
Experience in staff development, coaching and mentoring new graduates is a plus.
Completion of additional coursework or continuing education in business and operations is preferred but not required.
Must be a strong communicator - preferably familiar with emotional intelligence and conflict competence.
