Our 4-veterinarian progressive privately-owned small animal hospital, La Pine Animal Hospital, is seeking an experienced veterinarian (3-5+ years’ experience) who enjoys soft tissue surgery and working with a top-notch team. Just 30 minutes from Bend, Oregon, La Pine is a beautiful rural area with low-cost housing, kayaking, skiing, mountain biking, lakes, fly fishing and white-water rafting! We are tucked between the snow-covered peaks of the Cascade Mountains and the inspiring high desert plateaus of Central Oregon.
About our practice:
-Easy four-day schedule (no on call and out by 6pm)
Our owners, Drs. Gordon and Julie Pickering put family first. Their easy-going demeanor creates a cohesive fun team
-Positive happy staff; 4 CVTs plus three assistants; great buy-in of team
-Variety in case-mix; no day is ever the same
-4300 sq. feet with 5 exam rooms; digital whole-body x-ray, ultrasound, Heska in-house blood analyzer
-Encourage each associate to create their own area of expertise
-Many clients come from Bend because we are so much cheaper

Compensation and benefits:
-$5K signing bonus; $100K-$125K depending on experience; 23% production
-Group plan with 4 options; cover 50% of cost
-401K with 4% match
-Continuing medical education, membership dues, licensing fees and relocation dollars.
