The Humane Society of Charlotte is seeking a Shelter Veterinarian to serve at our main shelter location in the South End neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. The HSC Shelter Veterinarian provides humane veterinary medical care to all the animals in our care, as well as writes, develops, informs and maintains medical protocols and procedures. This position is one of influence within the Operations department and the greater Charlotte community. We are in the process of expanding into a brand new facility in 2021. Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine is required. Appropriate license, accreditation and insurance to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina also required (or must be obtained prior to start).
