Noah's Ark Veterinary Practice seeks a F/T or P/T associate vet to join our team of dedicated doctors and staff. We are located in a pretty residential neighborhood of Brooklyn, just a short walk from the park and the bay (trails, kayaking, tennis, etc.). Just minutes by car to the beach and great restaurants, and a quick train-ride to the city. Our team is well-trained and competent, and fun and easy to work with. Techs go for CE every year, as do the doctors. Newly-renovated, modern and fully-equipped, we offer digital x-ray, in-house lab diagnostics, therapeutic laser, and more. We practice first-rate medicine and surgery, and we have board-certified surgeons and an internist for ultrasounds on-call. We treat dogs, cats and exotics.
We are a very busy hospital, so experience is preferred, but mentorship is available. Good communication skills and a high level of compassion and integrity are essential. Hours and days are flexible, there is room to grow, and we offer a very generous compensation/benefit package to the right person (including CE, health insurance, prof membership and sick and vacation days).
