Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is looking for a Chief of Medicine / Medical Director to join our amazing team of doctors. The Chief of Medicine / Medical Director will report directly to the Group President and work alongside our Hospital Director to encourage positive collaboration and be responsible for working directly with specialists and our medical team to evaluate best practices and implement medical protocols that directly support patients, staff and the referring veterinarians in our community.

Our new 57,000 sq ft. facility has a 1.5 T MRI, 64 slice CT, a Varian Halcyon radiation therapy system capable of advanced radiation therapy modalities as well as an Interventional Radiology Suite.
GCVS currently has specialty practices in Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Animal Rehabilitation and Fitness, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Allergy, Avian and Exotics, Cardiology, and Anesthesiology. In addition to the specialty services GCVS operates a 24/7/365 emergency service within the specialty hospital.
