The Clinic Services RVT is responsible for the preparation and recovery of animals admitted for surgery at our two clinic locations. Ensuring vaccines are current, explaining high-risk factors to clients, and sanitizing and cleaning protocols are also included in the responsibilities of this role.

The Humane Society of Charlotte is considered an essential business in Mecklenburg county. While our operations are limited due to the coronavirus, our front-line employees are key to continuing to serve our community and will be expected to be on site for all shifts. We have implemented guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our staff, clientele, and the animals in our care.
HSC is a managed admissions shelter, however we want to make employees aware that from time to time we must make the difficult decision euthanize animals who are sick or injured or who have displayed aggressive tendencies and pose a risk to public safety or to the safety of other animals.
Enthusiasm for the mission of the Humane Society of Charlotte and helping animals in our community is required, as well as current North Carolina State certification.
