Can you connect with our mission?  “We envision a lifetime of wellness and joy for people and their pets."  Point Vicente Animal Hospital is an ocean-front privately-owned small animal, avian and exotic practice positioned right on the coast between Redondo Beach and Long Beach in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.  We are looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our team.  

The ideal veterinary candidate would have high medical and surgical standards, but also likes to have fun and laugh at work.  We work hard, but we like to make the days enjoyable. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to providing the highest level of client service is a must. If you have a special interest, we would like to help you develop that.  Want to up your game with birds? – great! Rabbits or reptiles are your secret love? - awesome! Surgery, rehab or integrative work?- you are welcome here. We will help you do this!

We are well equipped with many of the necessary tools of the trade. Digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, full in-house lab machines and therapeutic Companion laser to name a few. We also offer physical therapy and rehabilitation to our patients. We have an experienced and well-trained technical staff. We love our entire staff.  We also work closely with mobile board-certified surgeons, internal medicine specialists, CT capabilities and a cardiologist- all available to come to our hospital to provide services to our patients as needed. 

·        4-day work week, including some Saturday shifts.

·        No overnight or on-call hours.

·        We offer a competitive compensation range of $140,00 - $200,000, salary or pro-Sal, along with an excellent benefits package including health insurance, paid vacation, licensing, association dues, 401K, profit-sharing and continuing education allowance with time off

Requirements

California licensed veterinarian with a desire to be a part of a team of professionals that enjoy working with small and exotic animals (candidate ideally is eager and is willing to learn).  Some Saturday shifts are a must.
